Since our last update, Hit Music Radio have been updating the internal systems substantially and are now broadcasting the news on the hour - every hour. This goes to show that we are still aiming towards making Hit Music Radio the best UK based digital radio station. More details to follow.

Hit Music Radio are in the process of upgrading and updating the internal systems so their maybe slight cut off's or pauses during the current test transmissions - please be patient with us.

Hit Music Radio ceased its test transmission due to studio technical issues.

Hit Music Radio has started its test transmission today, radio stations must do this to ensure the equipment will do what we need it to do, it will also allow us to the tweak the sound of the station to what we need to ensure you are receiving the best listening experience. Further updates will be announced during August.

Hit Music Radios main studio is almost complete and are nearly ready to start transmitting test signals. We are aiming to start test signals in August 2010 and launch towards the end of year without a date being set at this time.
Hit Music Radios General Manager says "this is an extremely exciting time for Hit Music Radio and the team behind the station, since we closed last year we have had time to reflect on the brand and we are looking forward to making the station even bigger and better than before".
